Item #9183

One of the eccentric Surrealist's rarest publications, a memorial tribute to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of King George V. This was the first-ever Silver Jubilee of a British monarch, celebrated with immense public popularity, street parties, and thanksgiving services before his death in January 1936. It was widely rumored that Edward James was actually the illegitimate son of King George V's father, King Edward VII.
A very nice example in the original photo-montage wrappers by Salvador Dalí. Light edgewear, the original wraparound band is also present.

Price: $1,800.00
