Two holograph letters from Tennant to his friend Eddie Sackville West dated March and April, 1954. The letters reference Tennant's desire to make a portrait of Sackville West, assorted friends, including Stephen Spender, John Gielgud; a Modigliani painting, travel plans, etc. He writes "How dynamic you are Eddie, it's like having tea with a flash of lightining."
