An original vintage photograph taken by Islay DeCourcy Lyons. Longtime companion of Kenneth Macpherson, the two maintained a home in Capri for many year. They “adopted” Norman Douglas in his later years at the urging of Bryer (Winifred Ellerman) and he lived with the two until his death in 1952. This image comes from the Estate of Lyons and is in near fine condition. Copyright stamp of Islay Lyons on verso.
