Capri: Cerio e Pignalosa (ND). 4to., 18pp. A large format illustrated history of Capri, published by Cerio's Le Pagine dell'isola series. The illustrations were done in the 1940s by Partricia Mertig and present mostly touristic perspectives of life on Capri, several of which are fully illustrated. Magazine format, folded with light edgewear and small tears. Uncommon.
Capri (1944). Charming book about the legend of the blue lizard of Capri- "one of the most beautiful love stories of Capri" in the words of the author. Decorated throughout with woodblock illustrations, one of which is hand colored. Very good in illustrated wrappers. A charming and uncommon book. One of 1,000 numbered copies, although considerably scarcer than the limitation implies.

Particular emphasis on the myths of the island and an extended discussion of Tiberius and Augustus. Very good in illustrated wrappers. Laid in is a large folded map of the island.
