A standing portrait of Vidal, circa 1950, taken on the front porch of his historic Greek Revival mansion located along the Hudson River in Barrytown, New York. Vidal acquired the mansion after he had commercial success with his early books. Good condition, although there are a series of closed creases in the upper third of the image, mounted to a board. 10 1/2" x 15"
