An uncommon collection of sonnets with a distinctly Uranian cast. "The words procured by Gregory Thornton and illustrated by Willem Blaeu. Very good in printed boards, small inscription on pastedown. Twelve sonnets with a thin veil of homosexual love. Thornton was a prodigious classical academic professor who later edited many works for Angus and Robertson.
